Overview
Identity and website for a design studio that needed its own visual house in order before it could sell anyone else theirs.
Problem
A design studio with no design identity is a tough sell. They needed a mark and a system that signalled taste without trying too hard.
Constraints
Small team, scrappy budget, no patience for a 12-week branding death march.
What was broken
They were pitching new business with a logo that didn't survive a screenshot.
Design decisions
Built the wordmark around a single confident ligature so the name reads as a shape, not a string of letters. Kept the system monochrome — colour gets earned, not decorated in.
Outcome
A studio identity that does the talking before the deck opens.
